Starting out

By Kelly

As I write this first post, I’m unsure of the best topic to blog about.  I read my brother’s posts at his blog-

 http://ramblingsfromredrose.wordpress.com/

so I’m aware of most of his topics, but my views of being a pastor in UK would seem kind of hollow seeing as I do not live in the UK and I am not a pastor.  His views of the church and the religious topics are wonderful, but most days I struggle with the simple task of being nice to others.  I go through the day trying not to think that the world is being procreated with morons. Some days are harder than others. I am thankful that there is no rule in regards to being nice to your computer. I feel much better after a good blessing out when my computer doesn’t do what it’s supposed to be doing. (I am fully aware that most of the time I am at fault, but I still feel better) So instead of worrying about religion, I am going to be excited by the fact that I am leaving for Disney World this weekend.

I hope as I blog more that I will find my own voice and my own brand of topic that will interest others as I have seen happening with my brother.

I personal think this was a very good first attempt and share your daily struggle. Hope you enjoy blogging.

Welcome to blogging, Will’s sister. I hope you will find that, not only will you find your voice but that you will find a new, exciting family too. It is surprising who links up and where the discussions lead you. Will didn’t say if you are a Methodist, like he is. If you are, I can list you among the others on my blog. Don’t forget to leave comments on other people#’s blogs too. Meanwhile, Have a super time at Disney World!

Thanks for your comments, it is nice to know that someone other than my brother read the post. To answer Olive’s question of whether I am Methodist, the short answer is yes. The long answer is I grew up in the Methodist Church, that denomination has the biggest influence with me. I mostly agree with it. Right now I am with a Baptist Church only because where I live about all you can find are Baptist. There are only very small Methodist Churches here near me and because I have a daughter I chose to go to a bigger church so that their would be more for her. Most of the time I feel like a wolf among sheep at church. If you don’t know about Southern Baptist ask Will.
